Help Us Keep the Magic of Kites Alive!

The World Kite Museum is more than a museum—it's a place where imagination soars, history comes to life, and children discover the joy of flight.

Your generous support helps us preserve and expand our remarkable kite collection, create free kite kits that put creativity in kids’ hands, and ensure no child is turned away due to cost.

With your help, we can also upgrade our technology to build exciting new exhibits and make essential renovations to our building—starting with the exterior and ceiling.

Every donation, big or small, lifts us higher. Join us in keeping kiting culture flying high for generations to come!

The World Kite Museum wouldn’t be where it is today without the incredible support of the City of Long Beach and Pacific County. Their generous funding has helped us grow, thrive, and keep the spirit of kiting alive for all to enjoy. We’re especially grateful to the City of Long Beach for providing a home to the museum during its first 20 years—those early days gave us the lift we needed to take flight.

Thanks to the continued partnership of our city and county, our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers are proud to carry on the museum's mission.

And many thanks to our local businesses, kitefliers and families that have contributed to the museum over the years, including:
